Flash Cleaner Privacy Policy
Flash Cleaner helps you review and clean duplicate photos, similar screenshots, incomplete contacts, expired calendar events, and completed reminders. This policy explains what information the app accesses and how it is handled.
Information We Access
Flash Cleaner asks for access only when it needs that permission to provide a cleaning feature:
- Photos: to scan your photo library for duplicate photos and similar screenshots, display thumbnails, preview selected items, and delete items you choose to remove.
- Contacts: to find duplicate or incomplete contacts and delete contacts you choose to remove.
- Calendars: to find expired calendar events and delete events you choose to remove.
- Reminders: to find completed reminders and delete reminders you choose to remove.
The content of your photos, contacts, calendars, and reminders is processed on your device for these cleaning features. Flash Cleaner does not upload that personal content to our servers.
Diagnostics and Analytics
Flash Cleaner may use Google Firebase services, including Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics, to understand basic app usage and diagnose crashes or stability issues. These services may collect technical information such as app launch events, app version, device model, operating system version, installation identifiers, crash logs, and diagnostic metadata.
Diagnostics and analytics are used to improve reliability and product quality. They are not used to upload your photo, contact, calendar, or reminder content.
How We Use Information
We use information accessed by the app to provide the features you request, show scan results, perform deletions you confirm, maintain app security and reliability, fix bugs, and understand whether the app is working as expected.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your photo, contact, calendar, or reminder content with advertisers. Diagnostic and analytics data may be processed by Google Firebase as our service provider according to Google's applicable terms and privacy practices.
Your Choices
- You can grant, limit, or revoke Photos, Contacts, Calendars, and Reminders permissions in iOS Settings.
- If you revoke a permission, the related cleaning feature may stop working until permission is granted again.
- Deletion actions are performed only after you choose items and confirm the action in the app.
- Because Flash Cleaner does not require an account, most feature data remains controlled by your device and iOS permissions.
Data Retention
Scan results are used to display cleaning suggestions during app use. Diagnostic and analytics records may be retained by Firebase according to Firebase retention settings and applicable law. Flash Cleaner does not maintain a separate user account database for your photo, contact, calendar, or reminder content.
Children's Privacy
Flash Cleaner is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us so we can review the request.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when the app, legal requirements, or our privacy practices change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
